Help & operating procedures
The basic procedures for using the Giá Thật platform. Full text: Operating Regulation.
1 · Buyer procedure
- Search: type your need on the homepage (e.g. “SH 150 under 100M in Hanoi”) or browse by category — Vehicles, Property, Electronics, Beauty.
- View details: open a listing for the full description, specs, photos, location and market-price analysis.
- View seller information: each listing shows the seller type (individual / dealer / aggregated listing) and area.
- Contact directly: call, message on Zalo, or send a contact request via Giá Thật from the listing.
- Transaction outside the platform: inspection, negotiation, contract and payment happen directly between buyer and seller, outside the platform. Giá Thật does not process payment and is not a party to the transaction.
Giá Thật provides information, listings, price intelligence and seller-contact support. Buyer and seller contract directly outside the platform unless future transaction services are separately launched.
2 · Account registration & seller registration
A Level 1 account has a verified email or a verified Vietnamese mobile number (or both); creating a basic account by email does not require your ID document or place of residence. Level 2 needs all three: a verified email, a verified Vietnamese mobile number and VNeID verification — counted only from a real result returned by the VNeID/RAR/e-authentication provider; a manual reviewer or document check never counts as VNeID verification; signing up with Google or Facebook does not substitute for these. Level 2 helps buyers and sellers trust each other, keeps fake accounts out, makes you eligible for vouchers and gifts, and gives your reports or complaints stronger standing. Vietnamese mobile verification by SMS (OTP) is not open yet — coming soon; VNeID verification is not open yet and is temporarily unavailable. Today, a new account reaches Level 1 through a verified email. Registering as a seller to get listing permission is a separate step, not Level 2.
2.1 · Create a basic account
- Open Register. You can create an account with Email (full name optional, email, password); sign-up by Phone number (SMS OTP) is not open yet — coming soon (see the next item); this step does not ask for your ID document or place of residence. Google and Facebook sign-up are marked “Coming soon” and are not yet active.
- Fill in full name (optional), email, password and confirm password on the same form, agree to the terms, then click “Create account”. The account is created and usable immediately — no administrator approval is needed. You can then confirm your email with a 6-digit code right away or later, from your account page (Seller Center). Confirm your email to complete Level 1. Don't see it? Check spam/promotions or use the resend-code button. Review applies only when you sell: seller profiles and each listing are reviewed before they appear.
- New sign-up by phone number (SMS OTP): not open yet — coming soon. To create a new account, you can register with email. Log in by SMS (for accounts registered with a phone number): on the Log in page, choose the OTP SMS tab, enter your registered mobile number, then enter the 6-digit code sent by SMS. If the page says this feature is temporarily unavailable: an account with a password signs in with email (or username) and password; an account that signs in only with SMS OTP cannot sign in with email — try again later, call hotline +84 819 891 899 or see the Contact page; registering with email creates a separate account and does not replace it.
- A basic account (created by email) does not require a compulsory full name, ID document or place of residence.
2.2 · Seller registration (a separate, later step)
- To be granted listing permission, open the Register page and click “Register a seller channel (business/individual profile) → same process as before” at the bottom of the sign-up chooser screen. This is a separate seller profile, distinct from the basic account in 2.1.
- Choose the type: Individual (full name, phone number, email, permanent address) or Business (business name, phone number, email, registered office, ERC number, place & date of issue, representative). There is no CCCD field at this step.
- Set a username and password, then confirm your email with a 6-digit code (you may do this later, from the Seller Center). A business profile may be asked for an ERC image via the verified contact channel (hotline/Zalo/email) during manual review; documents are not uploaded on this page.
- The profile enters Pending approval: administrators manually review each profile before activation.
- To post listings, you need a seller application approved by Giá Thật.
3 · Listing procedure
- Log in and open Post a listing; pick a category (vehicles, property, electronics, beauty).
- Provide product info (title, price, location, description, images/video, category-specific specs), contact info (person, phone, Zalo, email) and purchase policies (purchase, payment, delivery, warranty).
- Submit for review: the listing stays Pending review until an administrator approves it under the Posting Rules.
- Approved listings go public; violating listings are rejected with a reason.
4 · Listing management
In Seller Center → Listings, sellers can: edit, stop sale (temporarily hide), resume, mark as sold, or delete a listing. Significant content edits may be re-moderated.
5 · Priority display
Vehicle and property listings run 30 days; renewal and auto-renew (default off) are managed in Seller Center → Renewal. No listing currently receives priority placement in public results.
6 · Moderation & platform administration (public summary)
- Administrators approve the seller profile (cross-checking details and documents) when you register as a seller, and review each listing before it appears. Creating a basic account by email does not require approval to use.
- Violating content is removed (hidden, not permanently deleted — for audit); repeat violators may have accounts locked.
- Complaints/reports are received via the “Report wrong listing” button and hotline +84 819 891 899, handled under the complaint procedure.
- All administrative actions are logged. Full details in the Operating Regulation.
