Giathat.vn (“Giathat”, “We”, “Us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal data and information of our platform users. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) governs how Giathat collects, uses, stores, protects, and processes users' information when they access, register an account, post vehicle-selling listings, search, or utilize features on Giathat.vn.

Giathat may collect the necessary information to provide and operate its services, including:
Account Information: Full name, phone number, Citizen Identity Card (ID) number, Tax Identification Number (TIN), date of issue, place of issue, email address, login credentials, and account authentication data.
Seller and Listing Information: Other data generated from personal data during transactions with us, such as transaction history, order details, and warranty history.
For Automotive and Motorcycle Products: Images, descriptions, prices, origin/provenance, seller information, and related documents (if required).
For Real Estate Products: Real estate type, detailed location (street name/project), property area, number of bedrooms, ownership status, etc.
For Electronic Products: Product name, technical specifications, and product identification features (device name, brand, model, origin, etc.).
For Beauty and Cosmetic Products: Product descriptions including full details of origin, provenance, product condition, and expiry date; clear product images (labels, packaging, brand).
Transaction Information: History of service usage and communications between users and Giathat or through the platform's features.
Technical Information: IP addresses, device types, browser types, access times, log data, and information on how users interact with the platform.
Other Information: Any other information voluntarily provided by users or lawfully collected in accordance with applicable laws.
Giathat only collects information within the scope necessary for the purposes specified in this Policy and in compliance with the applicable laws on personal data protection.
b. Scope of Information Use
Giathat uses collected information for the following purposes:
Creating, authenticating, and managing user accounts.
Posting, managing, and displaying listings in accordance with the poster's selections.
Assisting buyers in searching, filtering, and contacting sellers.
Aggregating and analyzing listing data regarding products and pricing to provide reference information, statistics, and price comparison tools on Giathat.
Detecting and preventing fake listings, fraudulent behaviors, abuse, or violations of the terms of use.
Providing customer care, and resolving requests, feedback, and complaints.
Fulfilling obligations in accordance with the law or lawful requests from competent state authorities.
Giathat does not use users' contact information for promotional purposes or provide it to third parties for advertising unless there is a proper legal basis or the necessary consent has been obtained from the users.
For product and price data publicly disclosed by users in their listings, Giathat may use this data to aggregate, analyze, and display statistical information and price comparisons on the platform. The public disclosure of listing data does not imply that Giathat is free to disclose or use the poster's unnecessary personal information.
c. Data Retention Period
Giathat retains information for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes set out in this Policy, maintain user accounts, and provide services to users.
When the information is no longer necessary for processing purposes, Giathat will delete, destroy, anonymize, or apply other appropriate measures in accordance with the law, unless further retention is required or permitted by law.
Certain data may be retained for the period necessary to resolve disputes, complaints, perform legal obligations, or protect the legitimate rights and interests of Giathat and its users.
d. Entities and Individuals Authorized to Access Information
Information may be accessed within the necessary scope by:
Authorized personnel within Giathat’s human resources, technical, customer care, and administration departments whose functions are relevant.
Service providers who assist Giathat in operating the platform (such as data storage, technology infrastructure, security, notification dispatch, and technical support) within the necessary scope and under appropriate confidentiality agreements.
Competent state authorities upon receiving lawful requests.
Other users, who may only access information that the poster has chosen to publicly disclose in the listings or authorized Giathat to provide.
e. Security Measures for Users' Information and Data
Giathat implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, modification, loss, or processing.
These measures may include: access control, personnel authorization, account protection, encryption or equivalent appropriate data security measures, system monitoring, backups, and secure infrastructure control.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their accounts, passwords, and verification codes, and must not share their login credentials with others. Giathat shall not be held liable for any damage arising entirely from security lapses on the user's part.
In the event of a personal data breach or security incident, Giathat will handle the situation and notify the data subjects or competent authorities in accordance with the applicable laws.
f. Methods and Procedures for Data Subjects to View and Edit Personal Data
Users can view and update their account information through the account management feature on Giathat.vn.

Users have the right to request the deletion, destruction, or restriction of the processing of their personal data in accordance with the law.
Requests must be sent via email or through Giathat's official support channels, clearly stating the account identification details, the specific request, and any necessary information for Giathat to verify the identity of the requesting subject.
Upon successful verification, Giathat will evaluate and execute the request within the limits permitted by law.
The deletion or restriction of data processing may affect the availability of certain account features. Giathat may continue to retain a portion of the data where required or permitted by law.
h. Methods and Procedures for Receiving and Resolving Complaints and Feedback

Giathat will respond and resolve the issue within a reasonable timeframe appropriate to the nature of the case and in accordance with the law.
Public Information in Listings
Sellers shall be solely responsible for the information, images, and data posted by themselves.
When posting listings, sellers should refrain from including unnecessary personal data, such as Citizen Identity Card (ID) numbers, bank account details, detailed residential addresses, or other confidential information.
Giathat may display necessary listing information to enable buyers to search, evaluate, and compare, including product information, prices, and selling regions.
Giathat may aggregate product and pricing data from listings to generate statistics, indices, or price comparison tools. When performing aggregation, Giathat prioritizes using aggregated or anonymized data when individual identification is not necessary.
